Role Overview
IT Infrastructure Designer position with Egis Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on designing, planning, and implementing comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions tailored to support airport operations.

Role Purpose
Design, plan, and implement robust, scalable IT infrastructure systems aligned with aviation industry standards. Ensure all infrastructure solutions support airport operations through meticulous attention to detail and exceptional analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Design Review & Coordination
- Review ICT design deliverables including concept design, detailed design, IFC, shop drawings, and all related technical documents.
- Review and coordinate ICT/ELV design documents, specifications, schedules, reports, and technical documents.
- Coordinate ICT requirements with architecture, MEP, structure, security, and operation teams.
- Prepare technical reports, meeting inputs, and coordination notes.
Infrastructure Planning & Design
- Ensure proper design and coordination of telecom rooms, data rooms, cable containment plans, riser diagrams, equipment locations, power, cooling, and space requirements.
- Review ICT/ELV systems including structured cabling, fiber network, data network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, fire alarm system, intruder alarm, PA/VA, IP telephony, intercom, AV, digital signage, and related ELV systems.
Quality Assurance & Problem Resolution
- Identify design gaps, clashes, interface issues, and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Review testing reports, commissioning documents, O&M manuals, warranties, training records, and asset registers.
Project Support
- Support tender review, technical evaluation, value engineering, and design clarification.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT/ELV design and coordination.
- Experience with all project design stages from concept design through IFC, shop drawings, as-built, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Experience in design and design review for aviation projects.
- Experience with Data Center design requirements and Data Center Tier classifications.
- Experience with physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and security control rooms.
- Experience in airport systems, smart buildings systems, and complex infrastructure projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of ICT/ELV systems, international standards, and project documentation.
- Good understanding of system integration, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction-stage requirements.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity requirements, network segregation, IT/OT separation, and secure ICT infrastructure design.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
