Irrigation Inspector

Role Overview

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking an Irrigation Inspector to oversee and ensure that irrigation systems are installed and operated according to project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. The role is based with HanmiGlobal Saudi.

Role Purpose

Monitor site activities and support quality assurance throughout the construction phase by conducting regular inspections of irrigation installations and verifying compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation installations to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship related to irrigation systems.
• Identify and document any non-conformities or defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of irrigation systems.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to resolve issues and ensure timely project completion.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in irrigation inspection or related roles.

Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation methods.
• Ability to interpret design drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes and standards is an advantage.
