Role Overview

Irrigation & Piping Engineer at Burjline Builders.

Role Purpose

Manage the operation, maintenance, and technical oversight of irrigation networks and associated piping systems, ensuring reliable water distribution and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee operation and maintenance of irrigation networks and piping systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on irrigation infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot system failures and resolve technical issues.

Technical Management

• Conduct installation and testing of irrigation equipment and pipelines.
• Commission newly installed or modified systems.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Equipment & Systems Management

• Manage pumps, valves, pipelines, and water distribution equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of associated irrigation equipment and components.

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering qualification (relevant discipline).
• Experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience within landscaping, infrastructure, utilities, or public-realm projects (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems design and operation.
• Proficiency with pumps, valves, pipelines, and water distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic capability.
