Role Overview
Investor Program Manager on a 6-month contract with Informa Group Plc., based at Tahaluf in Saudi Arabia. This role can be performed remotely.
Company Overview
Tahaluf is the largest B2B live and on-demand events organiser in Saudi Arabia by space, attendance, colleagues, and revenue. It is a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund (EIF). Tahaluf organises record-breaking events including LEAP, Cityscape, Black Hat MEA (a Guinness World Record holder for the largest CTF competition), and CPHI Middle East (the largest pharma debut event in history).
Role Purpose
Bring onboard influential, powerful, and globally-recognised investors to the CPHI and BioMed investor program. Research and cultivate relationships with high-profile global and regionally influential investors throughout the year, manage investor communications and logistics, and shape investor-focused content and forums to ensure the most impressive investor program cohort in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Sourcing & Relationship Management
- Research and discover globally high-profile investors and regionally influential investors.
- Bring onboard as many influential, powerful, and globally-recognised investors as possible.
- Keep in contact with investors throughout the year, cultivating relationships, answering all queries, and meeting with them both virtually and in-person.
- Maintain all prospective and confirmed investors on a database that is updated daily for tracking and data purposes.
- Contribute new ideas and topics for conferences, features, webinars, and content based on onboarded investors.
Investor Quality & Due Diligence
- Identify cutting-edge investors and ensure they align to the core values of the investor programme.
- Conduct extensive research across multiple platforms to ensure all investor information is up to date.
- Ensure onboarded investors are high quality and the firms they represent are high value.
Event Operations & Logistics
- Work with the logistical operations team to ensure Tier 1 investors from top global firms are well looked after, including flights, accommodation, and transport.
- Keep all investors confirmed to attend well informed about key event details, such as badge collection, app downloads, venue location, and more.
- Ensure investors are well looked after both in the pre-event run-up and on site.
Marketing & Communications
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure confirmed investors' bio and picture are featured on the website, well publicised, and track any changes prior to the event.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure they accurately represent investors.
Conference Content & Production
- Liaise with the conference production team regarding investors and investor-related topics that are new, innovative, and cutting-edge.
- Assist with the speaker onboarding process and handover to the relevant producer.
- Help shape investor forums, talks, panels, and investor programme content as a whole.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in conference production and/or event management is preferred, but intensive training and coaching is offered for outstanding candidates wishing to move into this career.
- A keen interest in the global investment ecosystem, especially in the latest developments.

- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Basic AI text/image generating tools, and Excel.
