Role Overview

Inventory Controller at United Al Saqer Group (Abu Dhabi Motors), based in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose

Oversee the accuracy, movement, and management of vehicles, parts, and accessories within the dealership or automotive group. Ensure stock integrity, prevent losses, and optimize inventory levels to support sales, service, and aftersales operations.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Monitoring & Verification

• Monitor and verify all incoming and outgoing stock of vehicles and parts.
• Conduct routine stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and take corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements, adjustments, and transfers.

Inventory Optimization

• Maintain optimal stock levels by analyzing sales forecasts and demand trends.
• Support procurement planning by identifying fast-moving and slow-moving items.
• Coordinate stock replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with sales, service, and parts departments to align inventory availability with operational needs.
• Ensure timely updates to stock status for internal teams and management.
• Assist in planning promotions, stock rotations, and showroom vehicle allocation.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards.
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of vehicles, parts, and accessories.
• Support audit requirements and regulatory compliance related to stock.

Reporting

• Prepare and present detailed inventory reports for management decision-making.
