Role Overview

Intern Power Grids at DNV (Det Norske Veritas), located in the UAE. This role is designed for a motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the consulting team in a field-based environment.

Role Purpose

Support electrical engineering consulting assignments through fieldwork inspection, testing, and measurement of critical electrical assets. Contribute to high-quality engineering solutions within a multinational team while upholding strong core values and adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork & Technical Support

• Conduct fieldwork involving inspection, testing, and measurement of electrical assets.
• Support consulting assignments related to electrical engineering projects.
• Utilize advanced measuring instruments during field activities.

Analysis & Reporting

• Assist in analyzing data collected during fieldwork.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.

Collaboration & Standards

• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards during all activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree in a relevant specialization is preferred).
• Based in or willing to relocate to the UAE.
• Interest in a consulting role with fieldwork exposure.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of relevant engineering tools used during academic projects.
