Interior Designer

Role Overview

AECOM is seeking an Interior Designer to join its Dubai office. In this role, you will transform spaces into innovative, functional environments that enhance communities by collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to develop comprehensive design solutions.

Role Purpose

To develop and execute interior design solutions that meet project requirements, local building codes, and the unique cultural preferences of the UAE market, from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Develop and execute design and construction document drawings from concept through completion for assigned projects in accordance with UAE building codes and established design criteria.
• Create compelling design presentations, renderings, and sketches to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Collaboration & Research

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure design solutions meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Conduct research on local cultural preferences, market trends, and design best practices to inform project development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional experience as an Interior Designer with a portfolio demonstrating design excellence and project delivery.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and local design standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in design software and 3D visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
