Role Overview
Inspector - Mechanical at AECOM for an Infrastructure Project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Purpose
Inspect mechanical works on infrastructure projects to ensure quality, compliance with specifications, and successful installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Compliance
- Inspect works against approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Inspect mechanical works, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Evaluate water supply, drainage, pumping systems, utility networks, and associated mechanical works.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Apply good knowledge of QA/QC inspection procedures and documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive inspection records and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience as a Mechanical Inspector on infrastructure and construction projects.
- Experience in inspection of mechanical works, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience with water supply, drainage, pumping systems, utility networks, and associated mechanical works.
- UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to inspect works against approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC inspection procedures and documentation.
