Hydraulics Inspector

Role Overview

Hydraulics Inspector at WSP Middle East. The role is based on infrastructure projects in the Middle East region.

Role Purpose

Supervise and inspect hydraulic-related works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and local authority requirements on infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Compliance

• Inspect hydraulic works including water supply, drainage, stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, and pumping systems.
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, witness testing and commissioning, and verify material approvals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and local regulations.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor contractor activities and report non-conformances.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and snag lists.

Coordination & Handover

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Support handover, as-built verification, and final inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in hydraulic works on infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of water, drainage, sewer, and stormwater systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi standards, MOMRA/NWC requirements, and project specifications.
• Experience working with consultants and PMC preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Good reporting and communication skills.

• Transferable Iqama preferred.
