Role Purpose
The HVAC/CRAC/ICWS Lead manages facility systems operations in a fast-paced environment, applying detailed working knowledge of facility equipment to supervise, troubleshoot, and restore operations of chillers, air conditioning, ventilation, and structural systems. The role encompasses preventive maintenance scheduling, work order management, and daily supervisory field inspections while assisting assigned craftsmen.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Supervise and restore operations of facility systems and equipment.
- Schedule preventive maintenance assignments and work orders.
- Troubleshoot facility systems including chillers, air conditioning, ventilation, and structural repairs.
- Conduct daily supervisory field inspections.
- Assist craftsmen in assigned duties.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Possess and demonstrate good customer relations skills to effectively provide assistance to company and customer representatives.
- Cooperate and support IAP policies.
On-Call & Emergency Response
- Respond to after-hours calls and work requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, including Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC) and Industrial Chilled Water Systems (ICWS).
- Journeyman HVAC certification with CFC Universal License/Certification.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC).
Skills & Competencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of safety rules, practices, and environmental policies.
Additional Information
Physical Requirements
- Must remain in appropriate physical condition to meet OSHA requirements of 50 pounds lifting capacity.
Licensing & Clearance
- Possess and retain valid current U.S. Driver's License.
- Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Travel & Deployment
- 100% travel; position is in deployed location.
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
- Valid U.S. Passport (preferred).
- If operating a company vehicle, must possess and retain valid current driver's license and operate the company vehicle in a safe manner.
Environmental & Working Conditions
- Able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Able to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
