Role Purpose

Execute repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment and systems throughout the hotel, ensuring proper operation of critical equipment, optimizing operating efficiency and economy, and supporting the engineering team to maintain optimal climate control and ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Execute repair and maintenance works of all HVAC equipment and systems in the hotel.
• Attend to maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and systems, including FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs, Exhaust Systems, and Ventilation systems.
• Monitor and record daily logs of critical equipment such as chillers, FAHUs, and AHUs ensuring proper operation.

System Optimization & Improvements

• Advise improvements to present systems in order to optimize operating efficiency and economy.
• Participate in Energy Conservation Programme.
• Provide constructive feedback and updates to senior staff.

Operations & Documentation

• Assist supervisors and administrators in filing and documentation from responsible areas.
• Assist Engineering Supervisors and store in-charges to prepare spare parts lists for ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
• Ensure Plant Room, Workshop and related areas are kept in clean and tidy condition.

Team & Stakeholder Engagement

• Assist team members whenever required.
• Build and maintain good relations within Engineering and other departments.
• Interact and cooperate with guests and outside contractors as directed.

Compliance & Development

• Follow department and hotel policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere to hotel safety, risk management and emergency policies and procedures.
• Attend on-job and off-job trainings when assigned.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Provide additional and specialized services whenever requested.
• Understand hotel operations and remain flexible with work schedules and timing, extending support on special occasions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Certification in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• 2+ years of similar experience in hotel or resort maintenance.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of central AC systems and split units.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
