Role Overview

Human Resources Officer at Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown. Hotel Indigo is a global hospitality brand operating 269 tastefully decorated rooms, each reflecting the hotel's neighbourhood story of Dubai Creek.

Role Purpose

Support day-to-day HR operations across the colleague lifecycle while bringing the company culture to life. Ensure every new joiner feels welcomed and supported, maintain accurate employee records, and create an inclusive, connected workplace through engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Records Management

  • Maintain employee records and colleague files in compliance with company policies and local labour requirements.
  • Support the onboarding process, ensuring every new joiner feels welcomed and supported from day one.
  • Manage attendance tracking in line with company policies.

Benefits & Compensation Administration

  • Coordinate employee benefits administration, including medical insurance.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding benefits with clarity, accuracy, and timely follow-up.

Culture & Engagement

  • Support colleague engagement activities, team events, celebrations, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Create visually engaging internal communications content using tools such as Canva.
  • Support the production of short videos or reels that capture moments, milestones, and the everyday spirit of teams.
  • Help bring company culture to life through thoughtful engagement and connection.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support performance management processes.
  • Handle employee relations matters.
  • Prepare HR reporting.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with utmost care, discretion, and professionalism.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in an HR or administrative role, ideally within hospitality or a service-driven environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Energetic, organized, and proactive.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
  • People-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Confident using digital and creative tools.
  • Able to balance approachability with the trust and integrity required of an HR role.
