Role Overview
HRBP KSA β Associate Director at AstraZeneca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategy and activities with business direction, objectives, and requirements to enable the Company to achieve its full potential.

Role Purpose
Act as a trusted business partner to senior line management on all people-related matters, ensuring deep understanding of business strategy to design and implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth, reinforce performance-driven culture and meritocracy, and drive diversity while complying with Company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Strategy
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior line management on all people-related matters to ensure deep understanding of business strategy and requirements.
- Design and implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth.
- Reinforce a culture of a performance-driven organization, meritocracy, and diversity while complying with Company HR policies and processes.
- Provide advisory role in creating and managing an efficient and future-fit workforce.
HR Advisory & Compliance
- Consult, coach, support, and challenge managers in the application of HR policies and practices.
- Provide advice and guidance on complex HR issues to minimize risk.
- Ensure compliance with all internal HR policies and labor laws and regulations of the respective market when advising on employee-related matters.
Program Assessment & Improvement
- Conduct regular assessments of HR programs to identify areas of improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Measure employee engagement through different tools and advise management on areas of development.
Cultural Change & Transformation
- Drive and support the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions.
- Support and facilitate the design and implementation of business structure reorganizations to improve efficiencies.
- Identify and drive improvement action plans in collaboration with management to ensure the Company achieves its Great Place to Work objective.
Talent Management
- Co-build a talent roadmap with management and the Talent team to ensure a healthy talent pipeline.
- Manage the Manpower Planning exercise in collaboration with different stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure business strategy and needs are cascaded and integrated into all HR programs and interventions.
- Manage employee relations issues in collaboration with related cross-functional teams to ensure fair and equal treatment to all employees in line with Company policies, procedures, and Code of Ethics.
Project Management
- Manage projects in multi-disciplinary initiatives covering recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, people management, employee relations, and change management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in the current role at AstraZeneca KSA with strong understanding of AstraZeneca ways of working, Code of Ethics, and governance.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant domain.
- Previous HR Business Partnering experience with solid examples of unlocking business potential through HR.
