Role Purpose

Plan, coordinate and deliver a broad range of HR projects and initiatives, ensuring activities are completed within agreed timelines, scope and resources. The role provides project governance, reporting, documentation and implementation support across the HR project portfolio, with a key focus on supporting the delivery of the HR Operating Model programme and related change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Tracking

• Coordinate and track the delivery of projects across the HR roadmap, ensuring progress against agreed plans, milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved and that risks, issues and delays are proactively escalated with appropriate mitigation plans.

Governance & Standards

• Apply project management standards, governance processes and reporting requirements across HR projects.
• Prepare project updates and reports, highlighting progress, risks, issues and key decisions for governance forums and leadership teams.

Implementation & Change Support

• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and change programmes, including the ongoing HR Operating Model project.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work with HR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate activities, manage dependencies and support the successful delivery of project outcomes.
• Partner with HR leadership and HR Technology teams to support the prioritisation and delivery of agreed HR initiatives and enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree level education in HR, Business, Systems or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project or programme management within HR.
• Practical experience of project management frameworks, such as PMP or PRINCE2 (certification preferred).
• LEAN six sigma experience an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and collaborating successfully with internal and external partners to deliver results.

Recruitment Process

• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a recorded video interview via a third-party platform to respond to questions related to the position and demonstrate knowledge and experience. All shortlisted candidates are asked the same questions and assessed on their responses to ensure fairness.
• After review of completed video interviews, shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial technical interview with the hiring manager, which may require completion of a case study.
• Finalists may be invited to a follow-up interview if required.
