Role Purpose

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the management of the entire housekeeping operations for the property, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and leading the housekeeping team to deliver excellent cleaning service.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Standards

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in rooms, public and common areas.
• Support the housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service.
• Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees.

Financial & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records.
• Control and maintain budgets, operating supplies, replacements and consumables.

Stakeholder Management

• Build a productive and professional relationship with housekeeping staff members, housekeeping clients and all contractor personnel.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in the management of a housekeeping team.
• Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, operating supplies, replacements and consumables.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.
