Role Purpose

The Housekeeping Supervisor manages the entire housekeeping operations for the property, ensuring high standards of cleanliness across all areas and supporting the housekeeping team to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Standards

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in rooms, public and common areas.
• Support the housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service.
• Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records.

Team Management

• Build a productive and professional relationship with housekeeping staff members, housekeeping clients and all contractor personnel.
• Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in the management of a housekeeping team.
• Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.
