Role Purpose

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms, suites, and public areas assigned by your supervisor in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Guest Room and Public Area Cleaning

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures.
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen areas, room refrigerators, coffee makers, cups, glasses, and silverware.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests, ensuring corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May have turndown duties.

Supervision and Coordination

• Notify supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied.
• Report any room unable to be serviced to supervisor according to established procedures.
• Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

Inventory and Logistics

• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
• Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items according to established procedures.

Additional Duties

• May assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Similar experience in a luxury hotel.
• A business-related degree or equivalent.
• Experience in effective learning and development methods.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Additional language is an added advantage.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Result-oriented and self-motivated approach with a positive attitude.
