Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

Housekeeping Attendant at Hilton. This role supports the Housekeeping and Laundry teams in maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and guest experience standards.

Role Purpose

Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards while delivering memorable hospitality experiences and responding promptly to guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning & Servicing

• Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning.
• Dust rooms and furniture.
• Clean bathrooms and bedrooms.
• Vacuum and rake carpets.
• Clean closets.
• Check and secure rooms after cleaning.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties including steam cleaning carpets, spring cleaning, and super cleaning as required.

Amenities & Supplies

• Replenish guestroom and bath supplies according to operational standards.
• Replenish amenities in accordance with hotel standards.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests.

Guest Interaction & Relations

• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Acknowledge all guests regardless of how busy or what time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Address guest requests and problems.
• Present a pleasant, honest, and friendly demeanor.
• Promote a positive image of the property to guests.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Report maintenance deficiencies to maintain rooms in compliance with standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies, service standards, and hotel procedures.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ability to perform routine cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and baths under the supervision of housekeeping supervisor.

Skills & Competencies

• Pleasant, honest, and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to address guest requests and problems.
• Knowledge of housekeeping departmental policies and hotel procedures.
• Proficiency in the correct maintenance and use of cleaning equipment.
