Role Purpose
To maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel while delivering memorable and unique guest experiences. The role empowers the Guest Environment Expert to take ownership of their space and address guest needs through skilled housekeeping functions and proactive service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room & Public Space Maintenance
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all public spaces throughout the hotel
- Execute deep cleaning and routine housekeeping functions across diverse hotel areas
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance as part of daily duties
Guest Service & Requests
- Deliver on guest requests promptly and professionally
- Prioritize actions and responsibilities that support an exceptional guest experience
- Empower yourself to move about your space and do what needs to be done to serve guests
Operations & Standards
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and linens
- Follow all company policies and procedures consistently
- Uphold quality standards in all housekeeping functions
- Maintain a safe workplace for yourself and colleagues
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Professional Conduct
- Maintain professional appearance, uniform standards, and communications at all times
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and company information
- Model teamwork and a collaborative approach to service
Additional Information
Guest Environment Experts will be on their feet and moving around for extended periods. The role requires a hands-on approach and the physical ability to stand, sit, or walk continuously throughout shifts.
