Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott, responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel while delivering a memorable and unique guest experience.

Role Purpose

To maintain the appearance and cleanliness of hotel spaces and deliver exceptional guest experiences by executing housekeeping functions across guest rooms and public areas, empowered to move about the space and do what needs to be done.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room & Space Cleaning

• Deliver cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public spaces to uphold quality standards.
• Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Fulfill guest requests related to room environment and cleanliness.

Operations & Standards

• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel.
• Ensure a safe work environment at all times.
• Follow company policies and procedures without exception.
• Uphold quality standards in all work output.
• Maintain confidentiality in all guest and business matters.

Professional Conduct

• Present a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
• Execute reasonable job duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Physical Requirements: Guest Environment Experts must be on their feet and moving around the hotel, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. The role requires a hands-on approach including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
