Role Overview

Host/Hostess position at Fish Beach Taverna, operated by Marriott.

Role Purpose

Create memorable and unique guest experiences by delivering a wide range of services that make dining feel like part of an experience rather than a transactional meal service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service Delivery

• Interact with and serve guests throughout their meal experience.
• Set and prepare tables for dining.
• Communicate with the kitchen to coordinate service.
• Take initiative to deliver services that ensure guests enjoy their meal.

Operations & Maintenance

• Clean work areas and supplies.
• Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.
• Handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects as needed.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.

• Uphold quality standards in all service delivery.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
