Hostess at NH Collection Dubai The Palm, a premium hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be the first point of contact for guests in our Food & Beverage restaurant, creating positive first impressions and ensuring smooth, memorable dining experiences.

Role Purpose
Serve as the primary greeting and seating coordinator for restaurant guests, managing reservations and arrivals while maintaining professional service standards and facilitating seamless communication between guests and the Food & Beverage team.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Welcome & Service
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
- Recognize returning guests and special occasions and communicate relevant information to the team.
- Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns and escalate when necessary.
Reservations & Seating Management
- Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
- Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
Knowledge & Standards
- Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
- Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and entrance area.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Warm, confident, and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain professional and composed during busy periods.
Skills & Competencies
- Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
