Role Overview
Head of Client Success, MENA at Open FX, based in Dubai. You will lead client success strategy for the Middle East and North Africa region, managing institutional client relationships and building the regional client success team from the ground up.

Role Purpose
Ensure satisfaction and retention of institutional clients across MENA while establishing and scaling the client success function for the region. You will manage the overall customer experience, understand client needs, and work cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that drive client success and transaction volume growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Growth & Optimization
- Analyze client trading data to identify opportunities for volume growth and cost savings.
- Create regular reviews showcasing platform value and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies based on quantitative analysis that grow transaction volume by helping customers optimize their FX flows and ensuring they manage a larger share of their trading activity through the platform.
Team Building & Leadership
- Build and hire the MENA client success team, sequencing roles against regional growth.
- Set the operating rhythm: account planning cadence, coverage model, and escalation paths.
- Coach and develop the team, owning their performance and progression.
- Carry accounts and handle client service requests while building the function, functioning as a player-coach for the first year.
Trading Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients' day-to-day FX trading needs.
- Monitor client trading patterns, volumes, and pricing to ensure optimal execution.
- Work with trading teams to understand their workflows and identify efficiency opportunities.
Operational Excellence
- Manage smooth client ramping processes, including technical integration and training.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any trading or settlement issues promptly.
- Provide regular reporting on client health metrics and growth opportunities.
- Collect and organize client feedback for product and service improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in client-facing roles with financial services institutions.
- 8+ years of overall professional experience.
- Strong understanding of FX markets, trading operations, and treasury workflows.
- Experience in analyzing trading data and creating actionable insights.
- Proven track record of growing institutional relationships.
- Based in Dubai, with the right to work and willingness to travel across the GCC.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with FX trading platforms or financial technology products.
- Nice-to-have: Understanding of API integrations and trading system workflows.
- Nice-to-have: Background in treasury operations or institutional trading.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with regulatory requirements for FX trading, including CBUAE, VARA and DFSA.
- Nice-to-have: Existing relationships across regional exchange houses, MTOs or PSPs.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to analyze trading patterns and identify optimization opportunities.
- Strong project management skills for coordinating complex client implementations.
- Experience working with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Advanced fluency with AI tools, applied as a core part of how you work.
- Ability to hold margin under pressure rather than defaulting to discounting.
