Head Chef

Role Overview

Head Chef at RISE Enterprise. This is a full-time, senior culinary leadership role responsible for all kitchen operations, menu strategy, and team management.

Role Purpose

Lead culinary operations and manage the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality, maintain brand standards, control costs, and drive continuous improvement across all food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations & Culinary Direction

• Own all aspects of the kitchen, including menu design, food quality, and overall culinary direction.
• Set menu direction that reflects the brand's quality and standards.
• Monitor customer feedback and kitchen performance to continuously improve standards.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, manage, and develop the entire kitchen team, including Sous Chefs and section chefs.
• Run the kitchen independently with full accountability for team performance.

Financial Management

• Plan and control the kitchen budget, including food costs, labor, and equipment needs.
• Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality ingredients at the right cost.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Work with the F&B Manager and CEO on pricing, promotions, and new outlet or menu launches.

Qualifications & Experience

• Culinary degree or diploma required.
• At least 10 to 15 years of kitchen experience.
• Several years in a Senior Sous Chef role or equivalent senior kitchen position.
• Formal kitchen or business management training is a strong plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong financial management and budget control.
• Advanced menu development expertise.
• Ability to run a full kitchen independently.
