Graphic Designer (SEHA)

Role Overview

Graphic Designer at SEHA. This role is based at a SEHA facility.

Role Purpose

Prepare and deliver all graphic design and audio-visual materials to support organizational activities, marketing, communications, and client requests. Maintain the company's visual identity across digital and print platforms while supporting team collaboration and compliance with facility standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Content Creation

• Prepare all graphic designs and audio-visual materials.
• Design, develop, complete and distribute all printed materials as communicated by the Graphic Designer/Multimedia Officer.
• Develop and design logos and images.
• Develop designs for promotional tools.
• Build print layouts and provide creative input.
• Conduct graphic designing, illustration, photography, medical photography, videography, video editing, audio recording, and audio editing.
• Perform sign engraving, branding, and corporate identity maintenance.

Digital & Website Management

• Update the company or organization's website and social media networks with graphics and multimedia.
• Manage conferences and events through visual and audio-visual support.

Request Processing & Client Management

• Receive and assist in the processing of all audio-visual requests related to all activities.
• Meet with clients to establish their needs.
• Use design software to complete projects.
• Revise projects based on client feedback.

Production & Finishing

• Laminate, bind and photocopy educational materials.
• Perform mass printing and laser printing.
• Provide audio-visual support as needed.

Reporting & Documentation

• Keep records on all graphic designing activities as communicated by the Graphic Designer/Multimedia Officer.

Team Collaboration

• Participate in all team efforts as required.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to carry out work smoothly.
• Promote effective communication strategies within the team and maintain interdepartmental liaison.
• Maintain positive and effective working relationships within the department/division and with other departments/sections within the facility.

Compliance & Standards

• Comply consistently with facility policies, procedures and practices and ensure alignment with SEHA facilities policies.
• Complete and maintain regulatory requirements including licensure, certification and other mandatory training within established time frames.
• Maintain confidentiality with regards to any information exchanged or received in accordance with facility policy.
• Adhere to requirements of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and infection control guidelines.
• Understand and adhere to emergency preparedness plans and policies.
• Comply with any regulations related to mentoring, training, and development of UAE nationals staff.

Customer Service & Professional Standards

• Assume the role of brand ambassador for the facility and promote a customer-focused philosophy in dealing with any stakeholders.
• Dress appropriately to meet the expectations of the specific work area and in alignment with Occupational Health and Safety policies.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned relevant to the basic responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or any other relevant or equivalent discipline.
• High School Diploma in relevant field (desired).

Professional Experience

• Several years of professional experience in graphic design, Interior Design, or any other relevant or equivalent field.
• Experience in a large healthcare facility (desired).

Certifications & Technical Knowledge

• Understand the usage of different software for Graphic Designing including Adobe, Premier and Adobe Illustrator.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in English language.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Computer proficiency.
• Time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (desired).
• Proficiency in Arabic language (desired).
