Role Overview

Global Corporate Banking - Large Cap Analyst (Saudi Arabia Coverage) with JP Morgan Chase, based in Riyadh. This role supports the Global Corporate Banking team covering the MENA region with a focus on Saudi clients. Candidates based in Dubai with frequent travel to the region may be considered.

The Global Corporate Bank (GCB) manages JP Morgan's relationships with large corporations and financial institutions globally. The team addresses clients' banking needs in financing, risk management, working capital, cash management and investments, and helps clients meet their objectives and overcome challenges as they grow.

Role Purpose

To assist Managing Directors, Executive Directors, Vice Presidents and Associates in developing and maintaining client relationships through business intelligence, financial analysis, marketing and execution support. The role owns internal processes including deal execution approvals, corporate banking opportunity tracking, financial statement review, presentation preparation and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Assist Corporate Bankers in managing existing client relationships and developing new client base
• Assist senior team on client coverage initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate events, valuation and other financial information on the clients of the group

Financial Analysis & Research

• Review and analyse client financial statements
• Leverage financial models and other financial analysis
• Conduct industry and company research and assist with credit analyses
• Support credit approval and documentation process
• Review financial statements, listen to and summarize investor presentations

Deal Execution & Transaction Support

• Execute end-to-end client transactions
• Support project coordination, including client communication, coordination externally and within the bank
• Highlight and track Corporate Banking opportunities across the client list

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare internal memos including Balance Sheet committee memorandum, relationship reviews and account plans
• Assist with the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials
• Maintain internal reports including revenue tracking and pipeline management
• Keep accurate reporting on all processes and opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

• Outstanding academic record
• Prior corporate banking, investment banking, debt capital markets, leverage finance or audit experience
• Saudi national is essential
