Role Overview

Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality patient care through the development and implementation of personalized nutrition plans, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Planning

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop customized nutrition plans for patients.

Patient Education & Counseling

• Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.

Monitoring & Evaluation

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to nutrition plans as required.

Clinical Collaboration

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

Professional Development

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in clinical nutrition and dietary practices.
• Engage in professional development activities to enhance expertise and stay abreast of industry trends.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Council regulations and maintain high standards of nutrient procedures.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records as per organizational policies.

Service Improvement

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of nutrition services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Dietitian in Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of local dietary practices.
• Valid Saudi Council registration and certification.
