Role Purpose
Support maintenance operations at staff accommodation by performing hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance work, responding quickly to repair and maintenance requirements, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for team members.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
- Carry out daily preventive and corrective maintenance works across staff accommodation buildings.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, facilities, and equipment to identify maintenance requirements.
- Report major defects, equipment failures, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
Trades and Technical Work
- Attend to maintenance requests related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, AC, and general building maintenance.
- Perform AC cleaning, basic servicing, and preventive maintenance as required.
- Carry out minor electrical repairs, plumbing works, painting, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Support contractors and specialized technicians when required.
Emergency Response and Standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance complaints and emergencies raised by team members.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to an acceptable standard.
Maintenance Management
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance materials properly.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas after completing maintenance tasks.
Compliance and Operations
- Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and accommodation policies and procedures.
- Be flexible to work in a remote location and support the accommodation team based on operational requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a General Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, AC, painting, and general maintenance.
- Experience in staff accommodation, hotel, resort, or residential property maintenance is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
