Role Purpose

To maintain and repair all building systems, interior finishes, and furnishings while ensuring guest satisfaction, environmental compliance, and safety standards across the property.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

• Respond immediately to all work requests concerning health and safety.
• Maintain health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area.
• Report and document potential safety hazards.
• Participate as directed in the emergency response team.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Maintain and repair all civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes.
• Ensure the optimum condition and appearance of all civil, interior design, and FF&E finishes by following the preventive maintenance program.
• Complete all work orders with due diligence.

Operations & Environmental Compliance

• Ensure environmentally friendly practices are followed when handling solvents and finishing agents.
• Evaluate and appropriately respond to equipment and area usage.
• Maintain a daily logbook highlighting problems and solutions, as well as any other activities.

Guest & Management Relations

• Respond to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete tasks as assigned by Assistant Chief Engineer.
