Role Overview

General Mechanic at Hilton Hotels.

Role Purpose

Maintain the hotel's physical safety, functionality, and guest comfort by responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, managing emergency situations, and ensuring all systems operate reliably.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Emergency Response

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues.
• Respond immediately to all emergency calls for leakage, fire, power, and related issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks when assigned, ensuring full completion of required documentation.
• Help with installation of new equipment when required.

Operations & Documentation

• Maintain a shift log book as a record of all occurrences during the assigned shift.
• Ensure implementation of all instructions given by the Assistant Director of Engineering or Duty Foreman.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned and multi-task as needed.

Workplace Standards

• Ensure cleanliness and protection of surroundings while performing work.

Adaptability

• Respond to changes in function as dictated by the industry, company, or the hotel.
