Role Purpose

Maintain and repair all electrical systems and equipment throughout the resort to ensure guest safety, comfort, and operational continuity across residential units, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel's electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, and distribution boards.
• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and minor improvement works as required.
• Attend to electrical maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.

Inspections & Safety

• Conduct regular inspections and ensure all electrical systems are safe and in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and follow hotel safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.

Emergency Response

• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.

Team Support

• Support the Engineering team with other maintenance duties when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical qualification or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, motors, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language; Arabic is an asset.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
