General Accountant

Role Overview

General Accountant at Al Gahwa Al Arabiya. This role manages and oversees the company's financial transactions and records.

Role Purpose

Maintain accurate financial statements, process accounts payable and receivable, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Provide insightful financial information to assist in strategic decision-making and maintain the financial integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Management

• Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Accounts Management

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

Planning & Analysis

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support management with financial analysis and recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar accounting role, preferably with 3+ years in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
