Full Stack, Developer

Role Overview

Masterworks is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and production-ready applications. This role is based at a Client Site.

Role Purpose

To build modern, responsive web applications and scalable back-end services with hands-on expertise across the full development lifecycle, from architecture through production deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Development

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React.js.
• Develop scalable and secure back-end services and APIs using Node.js/Express.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and external systems.
• Develop clean, maintainable, scalable, and production-ready code.

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Containerize applications and manage application environments using Docker.
• Work with Linux systems for application deployment, server administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Deploy and maintain applications in production environments.

Architecture & Performance

• Design and work with databases to support application requirements and performance.
• Contribute to application architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with technical and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Use Git for source code management and collaborative development.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and performance issues in development and production environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in React.js for modern, responsive front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js/Express.js for building scalable and secure back-end services and APIs.
• Professional experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, server administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, Git, authentication, and application security.
• Experience with cloud environments and production deployments is highly preferred.
• Ability to work across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and maintenance.
