Role Overview

American International University Kuwait seeks Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor of Physics. The position is located in Kuwait.

Role Purpose

Contribute to the advancement of physics education and research through teaching, scholarly work, and service to the university community.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in physics.
• Develop and maintain course curricula aligned with current physics knowledge and pedagogical best practices.
• Design and deliver lectures, laboratories, and practical instruction.

Research and Scholarship

• Conduct scholarly research in physics and related fields.
• Pursue publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise student research projects and mentoring.

Service and Governance

• Participate in departmental meetings and committee work.
• Contribute to institutional service and professional development.
• Engage with the broader academic community.

Qualifications & Experience

• Doctoral degree in Physics or closely related field.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly achievement and research productivity commensurate with rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor).
• Teaching experience at the university level.
• Expertise in physics instruction and research methodologies.
