FORKLIFT DRIVER

Role Overview

Forklift Driver at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to receive, load, unload, and transport raw materials, other raw materials, finished goods, and waste throughout the facility while maintaining equipment integrity and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Drive forklift in compliance with safety requirements to prevent incidents.
• Handle loaded and unloaded material with care.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Transport raw materials, other raw materials, finished goods, and waste within the company.

Equipment Maintenance

• Inspect forklift on a daily basis.
• Relay any findings or malfunction to the Warehouse Senior Team Leader.
• Ensure forklift is in proper and safe working condition.

Warehouse Operations

• Receive instructions from Warehouse Team Leader to load and unload raw materials, other raw materials, finished goods, and waste according to facility needs.
• Assist Warehouse team during inventory record activity.
• Carry out 5S and housekeeping tasks related to assigned area according to Warehouse Senior Team Leader instruction.

Management Systems

• Implement IMS and close findings related to function.
• Report problems with regard to IMS to head of department.
