Role Overview
Electrical Foreman at Group AMANA, located in the UAE. The role is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all electrical works across construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority regulations, and safety standards.

Role Purpose
Supervise and manage electrical construction activities on site while leading teams of electricians, helpers, and assistants. Ensure quality installation, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination with other trades to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction and electrical activities on site.
- Prepare daily work plans and arrange manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
- Lead electricians, helpers, and assistants; assign tasks and monitor productivity.
- Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with quality standards and project timelines.
Technical Execution & Compliance
- Read and execute works as per approved shop drawings, coordination drawings, and project specifications.
- Ensure all installations comply with local authority regulations (DEWA/ADDC) and project requirements.
- Perform hands-on work with LV switchgear installations, cable terminations, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, clients, engineers, and other trades (Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) to ensure smooth execution and avoid clashes.
- Resolve site-related issues and support consultant/client inspections.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Enforce HSE regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with PPE and safety procedures.
Resource Management
- Control material usage, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily/weekly progress reports and records of construction activities.
Team Development
- Assist engineers in evaluating workforce performance and technical competency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising electrical works within construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices, wiring systems, GI conduits, and cable tray installations.
- Good understanding of DEWA, ADDC, and other local authority regulations and installation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, load schedules, and specifications.
- Experience in ELV systems installation is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams effectively.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, for reporting and documentation.
