Role Overview

Foreman, Production at Alfanar. The position is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment, ensuring machines run efficiently, issues are resolved promptly, and production processes meet quality standards.

Role Purpose

Ensure smooth production operations by managing the team and coordinating efforts to maintain equipment reliability and performance while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Oversee the operation and monitoring of production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Ensure machines are properly set up and running to meet production needs and optimal performance.
• Supervise the setup and calibration of machinery for production runs.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Supervise troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and system issues to maintain production flow.
• Coordinate responses to equipment failures and work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and production disruptions.

Process Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
• Ensure timely adjustments are made to equipment or processes to improve performance and reduce waste.
• Review production data and oversee corrective actions for equipment and process improvements.

Team Leadership

• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Train subordinates and form a team to get the work effectively.
• Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates.

Delivery & Performance

• Perform planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving

• Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance & Safety

• Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma Degree in Electrical Institute.
• 6 to 10 years of work experience.
