Role Purpose

Assist in various aspects of food and beverage operations, working closely with the team to provide outstanding service to guests. This role provides hands-on experience across all aspects of food and beverage operations, from guest service to back-of-house support.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet and welcome all guests in a prompt and professional manner.
• Take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Be attentive to guests' needs.
• Present food according to established health and presentation standards.

Operations & Maintenance

• Prepare food and beverages for service to guests.
• Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Perform department or outlet opening or closing duties as required.
• Ensure that wait staff stations are clean and maintained throughout shift.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Immediately report any safety or service incident to the Supervisor or Manager on duty.

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience or on-the-job training in a similar position.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to carry or lift items, move around the restaurant, bend, stoop, kneel, and handle food objects including plates, trays, and glasses.
