Floor Assistant - Sporting Event (Dubai based)

Role Overview

Floor Assistant - Sporting Event with The Production Team, based in Dubai. This is a live event support position for an exciting sporting event.

Role Purpose

Support the Show Caller in seamless execution of all live event elements on the ground. Act as the Show Caller's "eyes, ears, and voice" on the event floor, coordinating with performers and talent to ensure every cue is executed without interruption.

Key Responsibilities

Performer & Talent Coordination

• Relay cues from the Show Caller to MCs, performers, and other talent.
• Ensure performers are in the right place at the right time for their segments.
• Communicate effectively with floor and stage crew members.

Operations & Problem-Solving

• Manage on-the-ground needs such as retrieving missing props, locating people, and troubleshooting last-minute issues.
• Help maintain smooth transitions and timing during the event.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in live events, sports, or stage productions preferred but not required.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Quick problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Additional Information

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
