Contribute to the design and review of fire and life safety systems for building projects, ensuring that engineering solutions align with applicable codes, project requirements, and safety objectives. Apply sound engineering judgment across complex projects and improve design outcomes through thorough assessment and review.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Develop fire and life safety engineering designs for building projects.
Code Compliance & Assessment
- Review drawings and specifications for code and safety compliance.
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct fire and life safety assessments and recommend design improvements.
Reporting
- Produce technical reports for complex building projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in fire protection, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5 or more years of experience in fire and life safety engineering for building projects.
- Experience reviewing fire and life safety designs against applicable building codes.
- Experience producing technical reports for complex building projects.
