Role Overview

Finance Manager at MIRA Construction in Salalah, Oman. This role oversees financial operations, planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and financial controls while partnering with senior management to support business growth.

Role Purpose

Lead the company's financial strategy and operations to ensure strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Support senior management with strategic financial planning and business decision-making.

Cash Flow & Liquidity Management

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
  • Manage corporate treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management.

Financial Controls & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.

Accounting & Operations

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • At least 2 years in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing corporate treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital management, and banking relationships.
  • Hands-on experience securing debt financing, negotiating banking facilities, or raising funds through financial institutions or other funding sources is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in Oman or GCC countries is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
