Role Overview

Finance Manager - Operations at SEVEN. This is an embedded finance leadership role supporting Operations, providing financial expertise and strategic guidance to venue management teams across all entertainment destinations.

Role Purpose

Serve as the embedded finance business partner for Operations, providing financial leadership, strategic insights, and decision support to venue management teams while driving profitability and cost optimization across all entertainment destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance & P&L Management

• Own venue P&L performance by managing financial results for assigned destinations, analyzing revenue streams including tickets, F&B, retail, and attractions.
• Monitor operating costs and drive actions to achieve EBITDA and profitability targets.

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

• Serve as a trusted advisor to venue and operations managers, participating in operational planning discussions.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights and influence decisions at the idea stage rather than just validating numbers.
• Provide financial business partnering that informs strategic decision-making.

Performance Analytics & Optimization

• Analyze operational metrics by tracking key performance indicators including per capita spend, attendance versus forecast, revenue per visitor, labor cost ratios, and F&B margins.
• Recommend improvements to optimize performance based on metric analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Collaborate with venue managers to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.
• Incorporate seasonality patterns, event calendars, and operational capacity into financial plans.
• Provide variance analysis with corrective recommendations.

Cost Optimization

• Drive cost optimization by identifying opportunities to reduce operating costs without compromising guest experience.
• Analyze labor scheduling efficiency and monitor vendor costs.
• Implement cost control initiatives in partnership with operations leadership.

Financial Controls & Compliance

• Ensure financial controls by overseeing cash handling procedures at venues.
• Monitor inventory management and shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and support internal and external audits of operational areas.

Team Leadership

• Develop and lead the team by setting objectives for operations finance analysts.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to build a high-performing team that delivers value to the business.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (preferred field).
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant finance experience with significant exposure to operations or business partnering.
• Minimum 3 years managing finance professionals.
• Industry experience in entertainment, hospitality, leisure, or multi-unit retail operations strongly preferred.

Skills & Certifications

• Certified Management Accountant (preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (advantageous).
