Role Overview

Field Driver I (Office/Other) at Nabors. This is a driving position based in Kuwait.

Role Purpose

Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting passengers and cargo while maintaining vehicle condition, adhering to all safety protocols and journey management requirements, and ensuring reliable, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Driving & Compliance

• Practice safe driving habits at all times.
• Follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations.
• Follow Kuwait Traffic Rules.
• Adhere to all state and national safety regulations and standards.
• Strictly follow Journey Management Plan.

Route Management & Navigation

• Follow prearranged routes to destination as per Journey Management Plan.
• Use maps and GPS to navigate route.
• Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions.
• Follow schedules and reroute in timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.
• Able to follow verbal directions and read maps.

Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep

• Maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.
• Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable.
• Maintain vehicle equipment.
• Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed.
• Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter.
• Report any breakdown or damage of vehicles to Safety Office and Rig Manager without fail.
• Follow and report timely vehicle maintenance to Rig Manager.

Operations & Documentation

• Load and unload vehicle.
• Document amounts paid for parking and offer receipts if needed.
• Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo and passenger reports.

Passenger Support

• Assist passengers when needed.
• Focused on customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education.
• Valid Kuwait Driving License.
• Knowledge of Journey Management Plan (JMP).
• Previous professional experience driving preferred; training may be provided.
