Field Supervisor

Role Overview

Field Supervisor at Nabors. This position involves onsite supervision and technical operation of torque turn systems in oilfield settings.

Role Purpose

Supervise field operations and manage torque turn system deployment, ensuring proper placement, operating procedures, and compliance with customer specifications and job requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Technical Execution

• Identify and communicate with the shop lead hand for proper placement of the torque turn system.
• Ensure proper operating procedures with the torque sub, transmitter, receiver, and the Laversub/Attex.
• Check pipe and obtain all pipe specifications and torques from the customer representative.
• Enter necessary job information into laptop for all specifications.

Stakeholder Management

• Consult with customer representative for all job information and invoices.

General Duties

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Previous oilfield experience preferred.

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Ability to work prolonged hours if needed.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
• Ability to walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel for more than two-thirds of the time.
• Ability to talk or hear for more than two-thirds of the time.
• Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus required.

Work Environment

• Typically works in a moderately noisy, business office environment.
• Will require close supervision for the first few months on the job or until confident to fulfill duties independently.
