Role Overview
Field Supervisor I - DRS at Baker Hughes. This is a shift-based role within the Integrated Well Services (IWS) team, supporting well construction and production operations at customer sites.

Role Purpose
Carry out activities within a project or Center of Excellence according to guidelines and processes set out in the IWS Management System. Work according to international and local standards, regulations, and customer requirements while supervising field engineering operations and managing drilling and completion activities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Mentoring
- Provide support, mentoring, supervision, and guidance to Field Engineers to ensure day-to-day wellsite work activities are completed.
- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects for customers.
Operations Management
- Oversee all drilling and completion operations at the field or extraction site.
- Ensure drilling work is completed according to standards and requirements.
Technical Support & Problem Solving
- Support external customers and cross-functional teams at wellsite to provide technical knowledge and direction as needed.
- Analyze and interpret system information and data to provide effective resolution to complex problems at wellsite.
Quality & Delivery
- Ensure work is verified to enable successful customer delivery and sign-off of agreed work objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a drilling supervisor or in Integrated Service roles.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
- Ability to travel at short notice and work away from home for extended periods.
