Field Specialist III – Completions

Role Overview

Field Specialist III – Completions at Weatherford UAE. The role is responsible for the preparation and execution of completion operations, ensuring the safe installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of downhole and surface equipment while meeting customer requirements, quality standards, and HSE expectations.

Role Purpose

Support complex completion projects, well integrity systems, and production optimization activities in both onshore and offshore environments while delivering exceptional service quality and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute completion projects from preparation through commissioning
• Support pre-job planning, equipment readiness reviews, and post-job evaluations

Field Operations & Supervision

• Supervise field installation, testing, and commissioning activities onshore and offshore
• Monitor field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful execution of completion activities

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate operations with customers, drilling and completion teams, and third-party service providers

Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Prepare running tallies, tubing tallies, installation documentation, and operational records
• Maintain accurate documentation of installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Prepare operational reports, end-of-well reports, lessons learned, and technical documentation

Troubleshooting & Analysis

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause investigations on downhole and surface equipment

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, customer specifications, and operational procedures

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Completion Operations, Well Integrity, Well Construction, or related Oil & Gas services
• Experience working in both onshore and offshore environments
• Strong understanding of completion systems, well integrity principles, and production operations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, completion schematics, and operational procedures
• Knowledge of industry HSE standards and operational best practices
