F&B Service Expert (Waiter & Waitress)

Role Overview

F&B Service Expert (Waiter & Waitress) at Marriott. This is a guest-facing food and beverage service role focused on delivering memorable dining experiences.

Role Purpose

Create memorable and unique guest experiences by delivering a wide range of food and beverage services. The role transforms transactions into part of the overall dining experience through attentive service, effective communication, and hands-on support.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Interaction

• Interact with and serve guests throughout their meal.
• Deliver a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their dining experience.
• Communicate with the kitchen to coordinate food preparation and service.

Table & Area Management

• Set tables for service.
• Clean work areas and supplies.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Standards & Compliance

• Uphold quality standards in all service activities.
• Create a safe workplace.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.

Operational Requirements

• Read and visually verify menu information.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.
