F&B Service Expert

Role Overview

F&B Service Expert at Marriott International. This position is based at a Marriott property and focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences through food and beverage service.

Role Purpose

Create memorable and unique dining experiences for guests by taking initiative and delivering a wide range of services throughout the meal cycle. The F&B Service Expert ensures every transaction feels like part of the overall guest experience rather than a transactional interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Set tables and prepare service areas for guest arrival.
• Interact with and serve guests throughout their meal.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, timing, and guest preferences.
• Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.

Operations & Maintenance

• Clean work areas and supplies to maintain hygiene and readiness.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required.

• Create and maintain a safe workplace.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance, uniform standards, and communication.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.
