Role Purpose
To welcome and assist guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner while delivering excellent food and beverage service that creates memorable guest experiences and supports the hotel's commitment to True Hospitality for Good.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome and assist guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Respond professionally to guest requests, questions and feedback
Food & Beverage Service
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Be knowledgeable about menu items, beverages and current promotions
- Ensure food and beverages are presented and served according to required standards
- Serve food and beverages according to required standards
Setup and Maintenance
- Set up tables, service areas and buffet stations according to hotel standards
- Clear and reset tables promptly while keeping the dining area clean and organized
Standards & Safety
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene, grooming, cleanliness and food-safety standards
- Maintain basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Collaboration
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and other departments to ensure smooth service
- Support fellow colleagues and other F&B outlets during busy periods
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, friendly and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
- A genuine passion for hospitality and teamwork
