Role Purpose
Oversee fabrication operations to manage workflow, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team to achieve operational excellence within the Oil & Energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production
- Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine necessary materials, equipment, and manpower requirements.
- Monitor schedules and budgets associated with fabrication projects, ensuring adherence to timelines.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and work standards in all fabrication processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of fabrication work to ensure quality control and compliance with codes and standards.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of fabrication workers to maximize productivity and quality.
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate communication between fabrication teams and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication and previous supervisory or foreman role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, techniques, and quality control standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices relevant to fabrication operations.
